The unexpected journey

In the summer of 2000, I won the English Under-18 Women’s Golf Championship weeks before I set off on my first big adventure - a 4-year golf scholarship to the University of Iowa. It was there - between lectures in journalism, communications, psychology, creative writing and entrepreneurship, plus gallons of French vanilla coffee - that I found the spark for something even bigger than sport and my studies.

A love for story. A belief in human potential. And a drive to help others bring the unspoken parts of their brilliance into the light.
