Short on stories again?

It's the problem women like you tell us they need help with the most:

What to say when you don't have anything to say.

Because sometimes, we’re just all out of ideas (or you’ve got so many but can’t see the wood for the trees).

The solution? Get yourself a story bag.

Say what?

It's not an actual bag, although as bag lovers we like to imagine it as a giant tote ready to be filled with ideas and stories to share when the time comes.

The good news is, it's easy to get your hands on and trust us when we say, once you've got your bag, you'll be filling it in no time.

Essentially, your story bag is a Google doc or spreadsheet where you can save all the ideas that buzz around your head. It's a place to save the words that resonate and the ones you want to share with your audience.

To make it easy, we’ve created a freebie to show you how to create your very own story bag and get started filling it with the good stuff.

➡️ Download THE STORY BAG workbook and a blank Story Bag Google Sheet, the same one we use. Don’t forget to save yourself a copy, before you start adding your ideas in.

Let us know how you get on.

Happy story creating!

We're Laura & Becca

PRs, copy coaches, mates, mamas and story obsessives. Between us we've got four kids, three dogs and two husbands. We know first hand how life is a big old juggle and we're here for the ride with you. Running a business (and a family) is hard work but we believe writing about it doesn't need to be. We're here to show you how. We're also here for the thrifty finds, adventure and cocktails.

Gabrielle Bernstein

I discovered Gabrielle Bernstein last summer, inhaling her book The Universe has got your back while on holiday in France. Since then I've literally read her entire repertoire. I can't get enough of her positivity and make picking an affirmation card the first task of my day.

Marie Forleo

I discovered Marie Forleo at the end of 2019 and devoured her book Everything is Figureoutable in a day. I love her New Jersey no nonsense approach to problem solving and how she's all about the fun. Because we all need more of that.

Mountains

Mountains, I love 'em. I love looking at them, hiking them and the endless possibilities they hold. Our favourite place to explore in the UK is the Lake District, whenever we have a spare weekend or day, we throw the tent in the car and head to the hills.
