Why rule MAKING is the name of the game
Hey storyteller,
Are you a rule maker or breaker? We’ve always been tempted to be rule breakers, but in all honesty, we’re pretty straight laced.
But when it comes to running our own business, we get to make the rules and that’s a feeling we absolutely love to live by.
It’s why for the third year since we started our business in 2017 we’ve flipped the sign on our office door to ‘Closed’ for the rest of the summer.
So instead of looking after the PR for a huge summer festival and saying yes to everything that came our way, we’re taking the summer off to be with the kids.
Exploring, adventuring and making a little space to really relax was always the dream, it just took us a while to finally realise it was down to us to make it happen. Hello boundaries, how we love you.
This year we’re both road tripping in the vans to France, Laura into the Alps, while I’m heading to the South West coast..
Summer girls at heart, we say bring on the sunshine, sandy feet and barely-worn-in-the-UK summer dresses.

I discovered Marie Forleo at the end of 2019 and devoured her book Everything is Figureoutable in a day. I love her New Jersey no nonsense approach to problem solving and how she's all about the fun. Because we all need more of that.

Mountains
Mountains, I love 'em. I love looking at them, hiking them and the endless possibilities they hold. Our favourite place to explore in the UK is the Lake District, whenever we have a spare weekend or day, we throw the tent in the car and head to the hills.
